Hello, MNAC representatives –

While we are taking our August MNAC meeting break here are a few updates for our neighborhood representatives:

Listening Series: Two sessions remain in our listening series 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, August 15 and 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, August 18. Bellingham and Whatcom County officials are hosting a listening series on race and justice, an opportunity for community members to share their experiences and their ideas for how leaders can make meaningful, effective changes. Engage Bellingham:  Have you signed up for Engage Bellingham yet? Engage Bellingham is the City’s new online venue for gathering public feedback. The site gives people opportunities to provide feedback and participate in discussions about City decision-making processes through a convenient, easy-to-use online platform. This new tool will fill a vital public process role while COVID-19 requirements restrict public gatherings. More details linked here: City offers new online venue for public feedback

COVID-19 Survey:  Please consider participating in a survey being conducted to learn more about people’s COVID-19 personal prevention practices. Learning about how community members are adjusting will help public health leaders develop inclusive solutions that benefit everyone. The survey is linked here: 6-8 minute survey

City Website Refresh: You may notice the City website looks a little different. Our recent website refresh included replacing the site platform and other changes that make it easier to access information and services and more efficient for us to manage.
